We had a busy, busy weekend! Thank goodness it is spring break for me! It started off Saturday with Jay leaving at 4:00 am to go fishing. I had the boys by myself to get ready for our church Easter egg hunt and Hudson's 3rd birthday party! The boys had a great time at the church egg hunt. Hudson had just enough eggs to fill his basket. Barrett decided to pass on looking for eggs at this hunt. It was more fun watching big brother. The highlight of the hunt was a visit by the Easter bunny himself. Barrett liked the bunny a little more than Hudson did at first, but Hudson finally warmed up to him and got his picture taken with the Easter bunny. He even eventually gave the Easter bunny one of his eggs and a cookie. Hudson does love to share (sometimes. How sweet:)
After the egg hunt we rushed to get ready for Hudson's 3rd birthday party. He wanted a pirate party, so that is what we did. Emma (Hudson's best buddy) had her party too. Her theme was pink princess. It was fun doing their princess and pirate party together, and the kids had a great time! Of course, it felt like chaos to me, but I guess that's how it's supposed to feel with 20 or so 3 year olds!
Sunday we also had our neighborhood Easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun too! Barrett found his first Easter egg there. His one Easter egg kept him entertained for the whole Easter Egg Hunt!
