Easter 2009

The night before Easter we made resurrection cookies - this will be a new tradition if I can get it to work right next time! The boys loved making them and learning about the true meaning of Easter, but in the morning when we went to open our cookies and see the empty tomb the cookies weren't so hollow. I have an idea why they might not have worked just right, so we will try again next year!

In the morning Hudson woke us bright and early to let us know that the Easter Bunny had come and left all kinds of little treats!

We headed to church for a wonderful Easter service. We were excited that my brother and sister-in-law joined us there!

Then it was off to EG and G's house for an Easter lunch...and guess what the EG Easter Bunny left there? The boys had a blast in the bounce house!

Cousin Braden, Hudson, and Barrett had fun hunting for lots of eggs!

After that we headed to my family's lake house for an Easter afternoon...and lake style egg hunting.
