The big 3!

At 7:46 a.m. on July 9th, 2007 we welcomed another beautiful, perfect little boy into the world. He immediately stole our hearts and has continued to do so ever since. We cannot believe that today he is 3 years old!

And at 3 years of age here are some things we want to remember about you, Barrett:

• You LOVE being carried!
• You do not like to do anything that makes you use your muscles ~ you would rather someone do things for you:)
• You love food and especially Top Tops (Pop Tarts) and pigarus (asparagus)
• You have starting having dreams at night and some fears (and you often tell me your dreams are about your friend Thomas or food - your 2 favorite things)
• You love the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf
• You love singing "Old Mammy Sheep" (a song my grandmother always sang to us)
• You love animals - real or pretend - you even picked up a dead roach at the lake and stated that you didn't like the ones that didn't move (YUCK!!!)
• You are trouble with a capital T and makes lots of mischief each day
• You love your lambie and can't sleep without him
• You love to snuggle and give kisses
• You never meet a stranger, and people often comment on how friendly you are
• You can make messes faster than any child I've ever seen!
• You can also play by yourself for hours but would much rather prefer to play with your brother
• You loves books and coloring
• You can say the whole Lord's Prayer by yourself
• You make the funniest faces and will do just about anything to make someone laugh
• You are very easy to please and have stated over and over (sometimes sternly) that you want nothing for your birthday
• You are a precious and perfect 3 year old who is loved very much!

We are so blessed to be your parents, Sweet Barrett! Happy 3rd Birthday to you!!! We can't wait to celebrate with you today and all weekend! More pictures to come after all the birthday fun:)
