Our Little Angel's Halo

A little over a month ago Lilly Margaret was diagnosed with Plagiocephaly, which pretty much means that her skull is forming different on one side of her head than the other. This is causing her forehead to be assymetrical, her cheek to be fuller on one side than the other, and her ears to be assymetrical as well. So, she has gotten a little "halo" (correction helmet) that she will get to wear 23 hours a day for about 3 months. We are in the introduction phase now, which means she will wear it on and off for a few days. She doesn't start sleeping in it at night until day 5. That is what I am dreading most! And not to mention the poor baby girl pours sweat after being outside for 10 minutes. They say that she will adjust and that will get better. She is much happier in the morning with it than in the afternoon. It does put pressure on some areas of her head so I know it must get uncomfortable. 2 days down and 88 to go! Please pray that she adjusts quickly to it! It is going to be a hot June!
