Greetings from Gulf Shores!
We returned last weekend from a fun week at the beach. Thanks to the Reaves for letting us use your beach condo. It was so nice, and the weather was beautiful all week long!
Mornings on the Beach
We enjoyed spending every morning on the beach. Hudson met a new friend (who just happens to live close to us) and he loved playing with her. Barrett decided sand was a new favorite snack.

Our Beach Combing Treasures
We loved walking up and down the beach and along the sand bar. We found lots of shells, sand dollars, crab parts (Hudson's faves), and even a live hermit crab!

A Trip to The Little Zoo That Could
Despite the heavy rain a few minutes before we arrived we managed to get a quick zoo trip in while we were there. The boys loved watching all the animals. Hudson's favorites were the alligators and goats. Barrett loved the bunny rabbits that were hopping around the zoo.
Out to Eat- YUM! YUM!
Of course eating out is one of the hilights of going to the beach. Our favorites were Live Bait and The Original Oyster House (a tradition when we go to Gulf Shores).
The Wharf
The Wharf was our favorite place at the beach - so much to see and do. We rode the Ferris Wheel and visited Build-A-Bear where Hudson and Barrett each built their own teddy bear. We liked it so much we went back the next night for more fun (and a new bear outfit of course:)
Can't wait until next year...

Love all the pics--makes me want to go back!! So glad that you are up at SPS this year!! Hope Davis is a sweet boy this year for you! :)
What a trip! I bet that was much more fun than working in a classroom preparing for another school year :) I was thinking what an awesome job you did with the pics of the boys and read that you needed Brooke. Ha! You did about 100 times better than we did getting one of just one child! Can't wait to see y'all in person soon!
