Well, he didn't take 1st place...but he still has a lot to smile about.
First of all, the two most special little boys in his life showed up to surprise him at the weigh-ins. They were troopers - 6 hours in the car today with just a little break in between, but we wouldn't have missed it for the world. And we sure were glad we made it...

because Jay placed 5th which meant a trophy, a check, and..

most importantly the opportunity to fish the BFL All-American tournament in Arkansas in May. And the fun part is they are paying for all 4 of us to go! We sure are proud of you, Daddy! Maybe in May you will come home with that boat that you deserve!
