The Tradition Continues...

Four years ago we started a tradition with our good friends the Dilworths and the Bakers. Since we all got married the same spring/summer we thought it would be fun to all celebrate our anniversaries together. So, the tradition began...Our first trip 4 years ago was a cruise to Cozumel, 2 years ago we traveled to a resort in Mexico, and this year we are just returning from a fun and relaxing trip to the Bahamas. Each year has been filled with memories... from telling each other about expecting babies (thank goodness not this year!) to stitches and twisted ankles in Mexico (leave it to the Dilworths) and then a sand fly attack this year that left Brooke and Allyson with hundreds of itchy bites on day #1 of our trip. This year was definitely packed with fun too - snorkling, piano bar singing, truth or dare (who's idea was this?), a new favorite drink (dirty banana), a trip to Atlantis to the casino, aquarium, and lots of water slide rides (how great to feel like a kid again!) Not to mention just quiet time to read and talk by the pool without being interrupted:) (thank you so much EG, G, Honey, and Zizzie for taking care of the boys!). The food at the resort was fabulous too! What great memories we will always have from this trip! We are so thankful for these great friends and look forward to a new adventure in 2 years.
